Sluggers’ is a unique lesson experience because all the lessons are done with live pitching!
There are 3 main focuses during each lesson. One is that the fundamental swing mechanics are taught using soft toss tee and other training aids. During the live portion of the lesson, students work on both timing and knowledge of the strike zone. Also, because of the live pitching, hitters are taught how to hit different off speed pitches. Situational hitting is also a very important aspect of a Sluggers lesson.
Pitchers are also taught how to throw different pitches, throw them for strikes and how to pitch from both the wind up and stretch positions.
